Dr. Nooshin Darvish, N.D., is the Medical Director and founder of Holistique Medical Center. She is Washington State Board Licensed in Naturopathic Medicine specializing in the integration of western and eastern medicine with the mind-body paradigm to address chronic illness, cancer, women's health, allergies and physical pain. With over 10 years experience, Dr. Darvish is a graduate and a former chief resident and faculty of Bastyr University. She has trained with medical doctors, osteopathic physicians, chiropractors and holistic practitioners across North America and Europe. She is a member of the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians, Washington Association of Naturopathic Physicians, and the American Oncology Association of Naturopathic Physician.

Dr. Darvish started out as an S-corporation formed in June 2002 which specialized in Naturopathic Medicine. The business began operation under the name Holistique Medical Center, which became the first comprehensive integrative medical center on a hospital campus (Overlake Hospital) in the United States, with a dedication to the balance of Western and Eastern medicine.

The project was eligible for the SBA 504 program under the Public Policy Goal of assisting a woman-owned business. As a result, the company will be adding services, additional employees, and contractors. The project included the purchase and improvements of an existing building located down the street from their former location. It will stabilize occupancy expense and facilitate growth within a more efficient work space. The new office building also allows Dr. Darvish the ability to add doctors and therapists and continue to grow her business.

The ownership structure is common to 504 projects. Nooshin K. Darvish, N.D., P.C., now occupies 100% of the building. Dr. Nooshin K. Darvish and Jahanshah Darvish, wife and husband, jointly own the project property and lease it back to Nooshin K. Darvish, N.D., P.C.

The financing structure is also typical. A 50/40/10 split was possible based upon the multi-purpose nature of the property and the growing practice with adequate historic cash flow. A preferred SBA lender will take the first lien position on the loan, SBA/ECDA in 2nd lien position, and the borrower injection coming from personal cash and business cash.
